We are the Kidlington Scout Group we have:

1 Beaver Colony - meets Thursday

2 Cub packs - 1 Wednesday evening, 1 Thursday evening

1 Land Scout Troop - Wednesday evening

1 Sea Scout Troop - Tuesday evening (we have our own boating base)

Attached to the Group we have an Explorer Unit

We are constantly looking for leaders and help in running the Group. We  have a few vacancies in each section but also hold a waiting list when full.

If you are interested in enrolling a young person or perhaps talking about helping in some way, either big or small, then please contact our Group Administrator: Mr Ron Shewry on 01865 372640.

Army Cadets are males & females between the ages of 12 in School Year 8 & 18yrs old.

Army Cadets train in wide & varying subjects both Military & Civilian. Such as Rifle Shooting Military Exercises First Aid Orienteering Sports Activities and much more.

The cost is very little all clothing & equipment can be supplied on a loan basis for the whole time you remain a serving Cadet in the Army Cadet Force.  

Attendance is voluntary & joining the Army Cadet Force does NOT mean you have to join the Army. It will give you a good idea of what Army life is like and help you if you do decide you want to join the Armed Forces.

Magpies run Out of School Clubs serving all Kidlington partnership primary schools. Our Holiday Play-scheme is for everyone living or working in the Kidlington Area.
