(30/11/2009)
There is a vacancy on Kidlington Parish Council. No request has been made for an election, so the Parish Council is able to co-opt a new member.
Anyone interested in becoming a parish councillor for Kidlington should write in to the clerk at Exeter Hall with a brief description of themselves and why they are interested.
To qualify for the council, applicants must be aged over 18 and either live in the parish (or within 3 miles) or have their principal place of work in Kidlington. All meetings are held on Thursday evenings starting at 7.30pm at Exeter Hall.
Further information about what is involved can be obtained from the Parish Council office at Exeter Hall.
The Council hopes to make a decision about co-option at its meeting on 21st January 2010.
Applications must be received at Exeter Hall no later than the 14th January.
